In 1979 to 2026: The Comeback journey of fashion Visionary Forty-seven years ago, I opened m very first women's clothing store. My love for fashion did't start in a luxury boutiqueit started as a little girl on a plantation, cutting out styles from Sears catalogs and using scraps of cloth to give dignity and amor to paper dolls I've spent decades knowing that what a woman wears defines her character and reveal exactly what she is thinking . Life has taken me through incredible mountaintops and devastating valleys after 47 years of marriage, I found myself facing homelessness at the age of 75 I've had to stand at the absolute bottom and rebuild with nothing but the clothes on my back . But the fire didn't destroy me -it refined me.Today, I am stepping back into my true calling with my brand: Special-Things -By-Me. We are officially open for business, bringing you a hand -selected collection of sportswear and business wear designed to give you the confidence, power, and respect you deserve.
